What to say what to say? I guess I can start with a basic. My full name is Brittany, but I like going by Bri. Those who I'm close to tend to call me Bri Bri, which is fine by me.
I'm a writer, not an artist, though some of the people who have seen some of my art would say I'm wrong, I just can't draw people or anything close to realistic, so I prefer avoiding the art side of things. I write all sorts of things, poems and analogy sort of things most often, and then just plain journaling. My pastime is roleplaying.

I don't know exactly why I felt so inspired to write...well, maybe I do, but that's a different story. I haven't really been inspired to write much of anything in the past few years. An occasional poem, but most of the poetry I wrote was back at least two to three years. I was sitting in bed, now that its 4am in the morning, and decided I wanted to write something...and I knew exactly what I wanted to write, and it flowed easily out onto the paper. I figured I'd share it here:

Since I picked up a pen
Started writing, started dreaming
All over again.

Some memories are hard to forget
They play on repeat in the back of my head
Sometimes good, sometimes sad
But each their own little melody
Sometimes they hurt, sometimes I laugh
But in the end, I just feel empty again
It stirs up things I'd rather forget
Of happy moments and wonderful things
Of tears and pain, hidden deep within
And its only when I don't expect it
They spring up in my mind
Details clear as day, just like yesterday
It brings up all those questions
The ones I never have the answers
Why did it go down this way?
What did I do so wrong?
Was it even my fault?
My head spins around them all.
